Note from Ms. Smolinsky
Ms. Smolinsky has contacted all families who have made requests for devices for the 2021-2022 school year to arrange pick up as of November 2nd. Devices must be picked up by November 1st, 2021 so your child can participate in remote learning on November 2nd. Anyone over 18 and vaccinated is able to pick up the device for your student. Fall 2021 Device Distribution
All families are being asked to complete the following device request form to indicate whether your child will need a device or not for any remote learning days in 2021-2022.
Students will have a remote, asynchronous instructional day on Election Day, November 2nd, 2021. Students are expected to participate and complete assignments posted by their teacher on Padlet (PK through 3rd Grade) or Otus (4th through 8th Grade). In the event of a closure, quarantine, or snow day, students will also have remote instruction. Attendance will be taken on remote learning days.
Devices are only intended to be used by PS 180 students and require a DOE login.
Any damage must be reported to the school immediately for repair.
You will sign a paper copy of this agreement upon receipt of the device.
If you requested a device, please wait for Ms. Smolinsky to notify you of your device pickup appointment time and date. Proof of vaccination is required in order to enter the building and pick up your device. You will not be able to enter the building without an appointment or without proof of vaccination. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
